These Ties (demo)
A demo sonically inspired by Fleetwood Mac and Dido. A few changes and tweaks def to be made, but I wanted to get some new material out into the world. A chilled out, homage to late 90s, early 2000s pop music. Written by myself and produced by Jono Fernandez. Release has been limited to Soundcloud, Bandcamp and YT, with the final version added to streaming too/ packaged with an EP 'In absence of qualms'more

Pluto
Pluto is inspired by merging influences like 80s synths, dance/house, electronic sounds/atmospheric elements, distorted electric guitars and my love for sci fi films set in space. I worked with Melbourne based Zak Roams who produced the song after I gave him references (New Order's 'Regret', Mondo Grosso/Asuka Saito's 'Planetary Tantra', Amiel's 'Be Your Girl' (Bass Kleph remix) to name a few) and I wrote a topline over it. Track spoiler: the song ends with a guitar solo! Writing the lyrics, I played with the idea of finding a parallel between when Pluto was no longer included as a planet in the solar system in 2006, and a teenager rebelling then being kicked out of home, with the two somewhat crossing paths in terms of ideas, and understanding becoming independence. Vox were recorded by Sydney based DJ/Producer Derek J Turner. Featured narration on the track is done by May Ladkani. I also wrote a treatment, hired actors/cameraman and directed a music video currently in post productionmore
